imagine a guy who makes one deicions early on in life based on the recommendation of his friends, teachers and parents where he is sent to a prison camp as a resultof that decision. at the prison camp, his life is completely regimented, but he is allowed to choose every day whether he will break rocks while facing north or soth, whether he wille at witha fork or a spoon, and many other trivial choices of that nature. He made one bad decision, and that ultimately ended up defining much of his life. Few of the prison camp decisions can really be labelled ‘free” decisions, and the first decision wasn’t all that free either, as he was pressured and informed and listed to his friends, parents, teachers, etc, and their bad info got him into the prison camp. so that first deciison lacked freeness too.
