I’m not a big fan of the glue traps either.
Our construction then getting a dog was a good way to remove the rats who lived on our lot. They used to run along our fence line and had a nest behind our shed. Shed was removed as it was in the path of heavy grading equipment… now we have a dog who LOVES to sniff out stuff… haven’t seen a single rat since we got the dog.
