I’m addicted as well. I signed up so I could submit to this post, but I have been reading along for a while. Happily renting in Sol Beach. Hopefully housing will soon catch up with my income instead of vice versa. I have lived in the same apt for 3 years and have watched the same 4 houses on my street (stevens/valley) sit on the market for months and months. Hoping to catch the bottom end of this correction in a few years, then invest wisely.
It is the information from this post that has helped me convince my girl that we should not get in before we miss the “opportunity of a lifetime’. We relocated from Long Island, NY a few years back so we jumped from one bubble to another. At least here I can park at the beach for free or walk there if I choose. (not an option on LI, even though there is several hundred miles of coast line).
keep coming with the good stuff and I’ll post if anyone even comes to visit the houses in my neighborhood. the open houses stopped awhile ago.
