If I’m reading this correctly he’s not “canned”. He’ll still be hosting Countdown and he’ll still be on-air during political events like debates and elections – just in the role of a pundit or commentator – like Pat Bucchanan. If you watch MSNBC you’ll know, Pat Bucchanan gets plenty of air time on special coverage nights.
I will agree that MSNBC leans left – but they aren’t exclusively left – they do have folks like Joe Scarborough, Pat Buccanan, etc on.
