I would agree that Penasquitos is preferable to Poway. Poway does have high-highs and low-lows. I’ve visited my friends there and it does get hot in the summer. True, you can get bigger lots in Poway. But what is the use of a large lot that you have to irrigate at great cost lest it’s all dried weeds?
I don’t understand living east for a large lot. You spend all your money on air-conditioning and water. That money is better spent on a better house closer to the coast, in my view.
