I wish I could do something like that. I don’t think I was hard-wired for it in my younger days before marriage and children. I did pack up my car and move cross-country, but that’s different. UCG and others give some sage advice. I guess you could always take a crash course in whatever high-tech field to help get caught up on the time spent away. I say go for it. Like someone told me before I moved out here; it might not work out, but you’ll always regret it if you don’t give it a shot. Best of luck to you either way.
