I went to the Del Mar Gun Show this weekend. I go about once/twice a year. I haven’t seen so many attendents. The parking lot was just about full at 10 AM, and the shoppers were already coming out with crates of amo (thousands of rounds not playing around). Once inside, between the hoards of people, there were lines of buyers for the assault type guns (AR15s and SKSs).
I knew that gun sales were up, but I tell you, it was a sight to see…..I could barely walk through the crowds.
They were plenty of buyers not just lookers. The gun makers must love this uncertain econ-politico times.
This might be the one sector that’s booming (even after Obama’s election).
