I think that is why blogs like this are helpful because they are informative and people can get alot of good information and alot of good opinions as well.
I do not think we will see a real estate bubble like that ever again as well, I would agree with you on that. Similarly I don’t believe we are anywhere close to the bottom either. Our economy sucks and there will be more unemployment and more distress and more foreclosures as well.
Unfortunately that sad outlook is completed contradicted by a government that is looking more and more like a hand puppet for Wall Street. If you honestly believe that there will be a free market that is only going to be regulated in order to benefit the safety (both economic, physical, and material) for the general populace then you my friend, are living in the wrong country.
Absolutely, the less people who buy homes, the more the market will fall. This cannot be disputed.
However you stated that you will not buy a home because you do not TRUST our system.
I can with all honesty say I have never TRUSTED our system, nor do I believe I will ever TRUST our system as long as I live.
Perhaps you will find that trust someday. I know I will not.
jp – I know what you are saying. I wish I had an answer for you kid but I don’t… as aldante pointed out, the only way not to lose is not to play.
