I think that if anything is learned from this lawsuit it is that buyers should beware when they choose to work directly through a listing agent. I think that for buyers who are savvy and know what is going on then there may be some benefit as they can potentially try to gain position in a competitive bidding process. However if you are assuming your representation is going to be top notch then that is an incorrect assumption.
