I never called anyone an idiot or a moron and I think the person who started this thread was out of line by saying, “Idiot SUV owners”. There are plenty of idiot non-SUV owners out there on the road.
I know because I see them picking their noses (no, your car is NOT a shield that renders you invisible to the naked eye), singing to the radio, and engaging in complete beauty makeovers in their rear view mirrors every day.
I dont have kids but if I did, I would want to teach them to be good stewards of this poor planet. Setting an example by driving an efficient, more eco-friendly car would be at the top of my list.
I applaud all efforts to compost, do organic gardening, recycle, etc. I cant wait to move into my new house so I can compost and raise worms. My personal goal is to reduce our amount of weekly trash by 50%.
