i know a fellow who justa few short years ago was trying to persuade me to buy not just one house, but several houses,a co-worker, and couldn’t understand why i was being so obtuse and idiotic in not understanding his cash flow projections for retirement in a few short years. The other day, he invited me to his house for a clearing out weekend house sale of everything he owns, giving the house back to the bank and “downsizing”. Not sure if that’s a sign to buya big house, but he’s definitely thrown in the towel on his rentals. I’m gonna say that he’s as likely to be a contrarian indicator as anything…man he thought I was dense.
