I have to agree with Ricechex… Funny guys who make those around them laugh get the girls. And nice (as in not overtly selfish) is a GOOD quality. Usually these guys are confident because in general, people like them… because they’re likable.
It’s not about looks. It’s not about money. It’s not about uber-achievement. It’s about whether it’s fun to hang out with the person.
