I have three kids in this school district, it is PUSD, two in middle school at Mesa Verde and one in HS at Westview. All schools in this district are EXCELLENT…just log on to Poway USD and check out the scores. There is a shopping mall close buy, it is a great central location, close to downtown, close to the beach, we love living here. I do not live near these condos, but about 1 mile as the crow flies south of them. Nice area, great to raise kids. It is cooler here than further east towards Poway, you get the sea breeze in the evening. The only bummer about the Penasquitos area is that there are a few older trashy neighborhoods, but because of the great school district, they seem to be turning over and improving. Great club sports for the kids, too. A real family area.
