I have no links or evidence and I don’t really care enough to spend the time, but I’ve read that the unions, rightly or wrongly are there or setup to mainly protect/support the unions, teachers and the administrators. It isn’t setup and isn’t there to look and see what’s best for the students.
Taking a step back, in a school structure, is there really anyone who advocates for the student and children?
Doesn’t seem like it from looking at how a school staff is setup.
