I have no idea why I’m here. I’m on my third house, and it’s the house I grew up in. (Bought from my dad.) Not planning on leaving it till I go to an old folks home or die.
I guess I’m here because the discussions of the housing market are transferable to the overall economy. The bubble was a big part of the current mess and there is a fact based back and forth discussion about that here. I may not be in the market for a house – but I am a participant in the broader economy.
I enjoy the discussions of different neighborhoods. As someone who’s a native San Diegan, tried other states and made a choice to come back – it’s interesting to me to see what people say about different ‘hoods.
And I wish duuuude would post more about battlebots – that is SO cool.
