I have been in the house. The front rooms in the house dont get much natural light but the rest of the house gets plenty. As I am sure you know, the light will change as the sun shifts relative to the house throughout the year. It is a north/south facing home so most of the natural light comes in the back of the house where you want it. It does not come in directly as you would have in an east/west facing home that would be much hotter so you would save a lot on your a/c.
As far as the lanscaping goes, as you know, roughly 90% of the cost of landscaping is the hardscaping (concrete patios, walls and patio covers), brininging in top soil, low voltage lighting, drainage and sprinklers. The dead plant materials represent no more than 10% of the cost in most cases and could be replaced with new grass and plants at a pretty modest amount.
As for the condition? I thought the condition was fine. It needed no more work than the average resell home I see. I asked for a got a copy of a recent inspection report that verified that.
I’m sorry you dont like it. Go find something else.
