I don’t hold out much hope for congress passing any budget that actually reduces spending…
You know that big 6 month spending bill they just passed? The one that supposedly cuts big chunks out of our budget? The CBO just finished running the numbers. It cuts 4.4 Billion in the coming year – but ADDS 7.5 billion in addtional defense spending.
Net decrease – none – it adds 3.2 billion to the budget. They should have just let the old budget auto renew.
