i do have a very real hatred of spell check programs. they cheapen the achievements of spelling bee champions. they make all that work, all that skill, all that time seem pointless. spelling used to be impressive. much blood sweat and tears were spilled on the spelling bee floor. ok, well, maybe not so much blood, but a lot of sweat, and tears. now it’s just a computerized program. the world has changed. the world has changed.
i hate spell check. hate it.
poor spellers should suffer the fate of being exposed for the crappy spellers they are.
now, on deeper reflection, i think my poor spelling is a kind of misdirected action, an unconscious anger toward these damned spell check programs.
this is kind of a breakthrough for me.
I think I’ll be able to spell better now on this forum.
