I didnt grow up on the Main Line but many of my childhood friends ended up there (Drs, Lawyers, Stockbrokers, Financial Planners, Execs. etc.) I also acquired many friends through my early adult life that grew up and stayed there. I used dated a girl who lived in an awesome house in Villanova. I’m not sure but I believe they evenually sold the house to Dr, J. Those old homes are spectacular. My best friend actually bought an acre lot down a private drive and built a beautiful custom home about 15 years ago.
I’m in my mid 40’s and was in that area from the early 60’s through most of the 80’s. Most of that time was spent across the river. I still remember my dad taking us out for a bucket of chicken at Geno’s. You might even recall that the lids were great frisbees.
