I did feel the quake in Carmel Valley. I woke just before my alarm, and I was lying perfectly still in bed. I felt a slight vibration and wondered if it was a quake or maybe my wife moving some furniture. Yes, she does that before 7am sometimes. Sure enough, it was at the exact time of the quake in Banning.
