I commute to work 2.3 miles one way. I am in Mira mesa
Sometimes I bike to work, I feel guilty about using car for so little distance but still use my car a lot..
been trying a lot to only bike to work..
But, with 2 kids and stay at home spouse, I go to my apartment/house almost everyday for lunch.
Nothing like having the convenience of working close
if it comes to trade off: smaller house for smaller distance for sure. For me, it greatly increases my quality of life..
