I agree with Ren’s comments about that part of Escondido. It is a pit, no matter how nice and new the houses are. My father commuted from Valley Center to Rancho Penasquitos for work and even in the 80s the traffic to get to the freeway from there was horrendous.
BTW-Ren, did you go to HS in ‘Dido? What years? Wondering if I know you. I went to OG from 83-87.
