I agree with him regarding a “good bank” but would go even further. Let the government take over the Federal Reserve, and lend directly to businesses and consumers. Let the existing banks deal with the consequences they brought on themselves.
There’s no reason to force taxpayers to shoulder the burden of Wall Street’s greed. Protect the depositors that fall under FDIC and SIPC protection, and let the banks who gambled fail.
