I agree with Desmond. We took out our shower door when we bought the place because it was dirty and moldy looking around the hinges and corners. We took everything off with the intentions of cleaning everything and putting things back and recaulking the shower door frames back. Taking the caulking off was a pain, but after removing everything, we decided on a shower curtain instead because it made the shower look much cleaner. We had the drilled holes in the tile from the original door, but filled those in with grout. Things look much nicer and cleaner.
