For what these crackhead builders are charging for new condos, I can buy a decent 3 bedroom home in Poway or Scripps Ranch. I really don’t know what the builders are smoking right now but hopefully they will wake up from their coked out minds soon with imploding loans.
Here is what makes me laugh:
I can buy 2 brand spanking new homes in Texas (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio) for what one of these condos cost!!!! And there are plenty of good jobs there too. People are nicer. I am tempted to move after my lease is up in 18 months. While I love San Diego the real estate market still needs to drop by another 100k before I will buy a place here.
