how is paying for a’s, deducting for c’s and minimally compensating B’s paying someone for doing the minimum. seems more like it’s compensation for doing the max.
i guess if you’re going to put it as welfare, all these kids are freeloading welfare queens living off the fat of the land.
this is crazy. all parents provide incentives. family trips cost dough, dinner costs dough, it’s justa question of what incentive you want to give and what kind of a tag you want on it. maybe it’s the cost-free praise, but you’re just trying to do your incetive program ont he cheap, right?
although we have no problems yet, and dont’ know how he’d do, i’d rather hit the ground running and get him in gear and in the habit of doing good complete work right from the start with as much motivation from him as possible. do you really think threatening him witha future life of underemployed despair is going to really motivate a high school kid? maybe , but no tthis one.
