It’s an eye catching headline but it was not like they were even bulldozing small sections of the city or something (like they were actually planning in Detroit).
In Today’s 24 hour news world they need to find an eye catching headline about every fifteen minutes or their viewers lose attention bandwidth and move on.
I think people lose track that although SoCal goes through downturns like everywhere else; it’s always going to be a place where people will want to live.
