HereWeGo, eliminating the mortgage interest deduction is DOA. But it’s fun to see it at least raised in a serious context. I enjoy it, just as I enjoy seeing any serious proposal to eliminate criminal penalties for recreational drugs. Of course, both changes are equally unlikely to be enacted.
