Are you sure you are selling puts not selling calls? Put option selling is basically delayed long position by collecting option premium.[/quote]
I stand corrected. I bought July 26 puts for Q which I don’t own any shares in the company. Also sold some July 12 calls on intc which I own a handful of shares.
