Having your agentbe familiar with short sales is a good thing. However, the success of the short sale depends much much more on the quality of the listing agent. If the listing agent is lame then it doesn’t matter if your agent is a god, or if you have Perry Mason as your attorney. Most short sales end up going nowhere due to the listing agent not being persistent. Your agent should be able to advise you about the quality of the listing agent completing short sales through experience.
