Good points about the word “should”. That is why I freely admitted that I was not the know-all sage on this topic! Mostly I don’t care about “shoulds” in other people’s lives. I certainly don’t have all the answers and never claimed that I did. Perhaps I “should” have used a different word. ha! I guess my point was that I would wish for it not to be about what is moral or not moral in the bedroom, and more about ensuring a civil right for consenting adults.
This is a difficult topic. Most things in life are simply not black or white. This is why those of us on this site and in many other arenas of life go back and forth ad nauseum on this and other issues. My response may have been an emotional one, but it at least is an emotional response that is inclusive.
