But remember that many football teams are hurting right now as blackout rules mean that alot of games will not be broadcast in home markets as tickets are not selling out.
They should make a ‘sportsfan stimulus II’, where by you could add it to the cost of any season tickets, so that games can be broadcast in home markets. Just think of all the $10 beers and $7 hotdogs that will not be sold if they don’t. Or the $40 parking fees. Besides, most cities with teams have reviune shareing agreements with the cities, who will take in less $$ if fewer tickets are sold. So we will also bail out the large public subsidies of very profitable enterprises, bailing out our bailouts.
I mean what good are new TV’s and nice couches and diabetes inducing food consumption without chearing on which ever team I choose? I will feel some slight emotional pain by not being able to watch the chragers each week, and obviously it is the governements duty to make sure I feel none of it, getting what I want, when I want, how I want, and only paying what I want.
