Ghetto is south-central LA. Maybe SESD. Parts of Oakland. WW II-era Warsaw and Lodz in another sense. Ghetto is an ethnically homogeneous often poor neighborhood, which is pretty much the diametrical opposite of what I’m describing.
If you think that the area of which you speak is “ghetto”, you’ve lived a pretty sheltered life. That is all.
