From what I’ve read, the police say the wife had the gun when they shot her, then the husband grabbed the gun and they shot him, then the wife grabbed the gun again and they shot her again.
It sounded strange at first to me too.
In an ideal world we’d have police robots with pepper spray, bean bag guns, and Tasers, but sounds like things got out of hand very quickly.
