The solution is to be richer and more successful than them on the coasts and make them see that their lifestyles are wrong. I wish it was that easy, but we’re talking about hundreds of thousands of americans in places like the rust belt, and appalachia. I grew up there and know what it was like and it’s not easy getting through to these people. Most people get their mores, and outlook on life by their environment and people around them and people in these areas have a tendency to be like crabs and grab the ones trying to get out back in.
