Summer all year long in HI (that’s the complaint I have heard from a few people I know who moved then moved back)
Also not much to do unless you’re really really into water sports.
For me I think SD has better weather than HI because it is generally cool at the beach most all year long and I like to walk on the beach.
Walking on (or along) the beach in HI is kind of too hot in the day time.
