This can be a huge time expense and also doesn’t give you much power – your vote is only 1 out of 5 and when the rest of the board is filled with kooks with agendas, then you could be screwed no matter what.
Worse yet, no one will remember who voted in which direction, so your name will be associated with any zany path the board heads.
