I like the turbine engine sound when I turn on these things. The louder the better. Makes me feel like I’m right under a Boeing 747. If I put a stainless steel lid right next below one of the blowers when it turns on, it just sucks the thing up and holds it in place. Whoohoo![/quote]
I’m a cheap bastard too, but I made a mistake of buying this without reading. I bought the hood, only to find out it doesn’t have a motor. It would cost me to return due to restocking fee, so I decided to go all the way and get the motor too. I’m glad I did though :-).
