FLU: I test drove the GT500 when they first came out and it is a beast. The only problem was that dealers were marking them up an insane amount (and they were still selling like hotcakes).
It was in white with the blue racing stripes and it was fast! Great low end gearing (you go through the lower gears real fast and it chirped the tires in 1 – 3).
I just wasn’t prepared to shell out $80k for a Mustang. I really liked that Ford commercial about that guy with the GT500 on the autobahn (because American roads weren’t fast enough).
