AN you know me pretty well. And you know that I would never be Ok with higher taxes and bigger government.
Yes, I know you well. I was asking as a jest more than anything. I know where you stand on issues.
BUT, at this point, I’m more concerned with a longer term damage Trump does to this country than a shorter term damage that Hillary might do to my taxes.
I think that’s where we disagree. I have faith in our political structure. Which I think will prevent someone like Trump to do crazy shit. However, if Clinton and democrats somehow win in a land slide, we will not only see no entitlement reform but add on to that, free college, higher minimum wage, bigger government, etc. Which, IMHO, is cause a very long lasting damage. It’s not about my taxes. I don’t think either one of them will greatly affect me in the next 4-8 years. But I believe her policy (if she gets everything she want) will cause long lasting impact.
He represents everything wrong about this country, every sorry excuse people make for themselves on why they can’t get ahead.
Yes, very true. But the demographic shift will change all of that over time. in 30 years, minorities will be the majority. Look around and you see A LOT of mix kids now and it will only get more prevalent.
Like NSR said, everything that you said you stand for and favor, is what a Libertarian stands for. So, why vote for the lesser of the two evil when you have an option that stand for what you stand for? Also, you’re in CA, which mean Hillary will get our electoral votes anyways, so why worry about actually voting for who you want instead of the lesser of the two evil.
