Through some coincidence or another my jump school class was about 10% Marines … all the ones I met were pretty cool.
I’ve been reprimanded at least once due to my excessive fondness for Marine jokes. That said, I’ve always gotten along well with the USMC, though I remember a joint exercise that had to be halted temporarily because of a near-fight between our guys and a bunch of Royal Marines … guess they still haven’t forgiven us for the Revolution, much as I’m not likely to forgive their country for Hugh Grant =)
