Fishsticks: In terms of scapegoating, you don’t need to look any further than internment camps, like Manzanar, that were used by the US during WWII.
Cardiff: In terms of violence, you’re also talking about a country that has 300MM guns. We get real pissed off, there is gonna be trouble.
Up here in Fallbrook, I’m surrounded by arch-conservative, very well armed former Marines. Given my military background, it isn’t hard to imagine a group of former military or law enforcement types getting up in arms.
