first off, having one central bank for so many diverse economies is a disaster. I have been to much of Western Europe and parts of Eastern Europe like Slovakia that are part of the EU. Slovakia (slated to join Eurozone in Jan) is so backward compared to say Germany I don’t understand how a single economic policy can cover both countries successfully.
