I never like to say one single factor could cause a market to stabilize but this Apple coming to San Diego could be the key factor in ensuring prices stabilize in the coming years.
As this is a strategic decision by Apple, their own in-house analysis must see the relative value of San Diego vs the Bay Area as a long term play.
I don’t recall many near half billion investments in property in San Diego office space/campuses in the past decade.
