During the boom years one of the things that really bugged me was the pompous way house sellers would write in the listing, “Seller Will Entertain Offers Between $550K – $600K.” Or they would many times shorten that to, “Seller will EOB $550K – $600K.” Sometimes they didn’t even have time to write all that out and instead would only put, “SWEOB 550k-600k.”
So my response became my Piggington pen name, “BuyerWillEPB,” short for “Buyer Will Entertain Prices Below what YOU paid for it.”
