Don’t do it. If you do anything, get an SFR. I have lived around these parts for 20+ years. The neighborhood “gentrified” but is still the same neighborhood. It is trendy right now…but that will change, it always does.
Definitely do NOT buy a condo. There is a glut and tons of condo conversions. The condo conversions are mostly going belly up, as they have been slicked up with some granite counters and stainless steel appliances, but the plumbing and infrastructure is lacking.
