donaldduckmoore you’re right, that’s what “current” is (I think). I interpret it as “currently accepting applications for change-of-status from visa to permanent resident”. How long it takes to process the application is another thing. But once they’ve accepted the application for processing, you have more rights than regular visa holders. You can change jobs, for example (there may be a lot of job shuffling as people look for higher pay).
