didnt england used to have the “dole”…i kinda remember college students in the 80’s visiting and talking about “going on t he dole” while on summer break, lots of free money around for no work. it sounds great. there is too much meaningless work being done in this country anyway. maybe the country needs to experiment with more leisure. just make it permanent so people wont be stressed out about it ending, which would reduce the utility of the leisure.
