Devils advocate here,
If you work 50 hours per adult per household and spend everything you have to be in the middle class,which is by world standards luxurious but apparently doesn’t involve raising your own children, who’s choice or fault is it? I am not advocating more profits for the robber barons but these class arguments in America always make me think of ” poor me” and entitlement.
I realize women’s liberation issues created valid impacts but maybe we should have watched the direction we were going in more closely?
