I’m thinking people see how little vacation time companies give and how they absolutely frown people taking anything more than 2 weeks at a time off.
I am current with the latest technologies in my line and I intend to follow IT developments closely even when I am away..thanks to the internet 🙂 Software Engineering is my first love and I am a superfast learner so I have no issues catching up.
I just have issues with employers who do not use logic to make decisions. Just having a gap on your Resume doesn’t make one unemployable. If I can pass a skills test (which most employers have anyways) then what difference does it make even if I took 2 yrs off? It’s just narrow minded…
